Aiming to reach more and more medical students worldwide, offering more and more chances as well to our peers everywhere to join us at the 19th AIMSC…

AIMSC's executive board is granting a FREE participant's place for anyone who can be AIMSC's ambassador at his/her country, promote AIMSC and successfully gather a group of other 14 students and collectively participate at the congress…

Where & When is the congress?
Cairo, Egypt

Who should attend?
Every Medical student and young doctor, who is interested in research and has been involved in a worthwhile medical research, is invited.

Why should I attend?
The congress offers a unique opportunity to present your research to an international audience and a scientific jury of high caliber, and engage in a multicultural social experience.

What are the congress awards?
In the name and memory of our beloved professor, Dr. Ali Khalifa, four prizes are awarded at the end of the conference to the winners and runner-ups for both the oral and poster competitions.
The awards are:
I. Oral & Poster presentation winners: 500 Euros each.
II. Oral & Poster presentation runner-ups: A place in our annual Summer School for each.

What are the congress topics?
1. Public Health
2. Internal Medicine
3. Surgery
4. Pediatrics
5. Obstetrics & Gynecology
6. Immunology & Microbiology
7. Free Medical Topics
The scientific jury invited for these sessions consists of a very diverse selection of professors.

What are the congress workshops?
This year's congress is expected to host a variety of workshops in collaboration WHO and LOGIC besides our most distinguished keynote speakers.
Preliminary contacts have been made, although specifications are yet to be decided. Further information will be available on our website.

Post Congress Tour
The post congress tour consists of a trip to the wondrous city of Hurghada which is one of the most famous resort areas of the Red Sea . The tour also includes both an over day trip to Luxor ,which is the ancient capital of Egypt known to host almost one third of all the world's antiquities, and a Red Sea offshore trip.

What are the registration fees?
1- Congress:
The congress fee is 175 Euros, to be paid in cash upon arrival at the registration desk.
The congress fee covers your:
- Participation
- Accommodation in a 5 stars Resort (half board),
- Transportation during congress (including airport pick up)
- A Vodafone Egyptian SIM card for your phone calls in Egypt *
- Social outings, which include :
A Tour to the Pyramids & Sphinx
Oriental Dance Show
Night Gathering
The Gala Dinner
- Certificate of attendance.
2-Post congress tour to Hurghada:
The tour fee is 170 Euros, to be paid in cash upon arrival at the registration desk.
The post congress fee covers:
- Accommodation in a 4 stars hotel (Half Board).
- Transportation.
- Snorkeling and water sports in Gifton Island in Red Sea.
- Sight seeing in Hurghada.
- Guided sight seeing among Luxor Temples & Monuments.

What is the official language?
The official language is English.
Where can i submit my abstract?
Please submit your abstract in the 'Registration' section.

May I submit 2 abstracts?
You may submit a maximum of 1 oral and 1 poster abstract. You may not submit 2 abstracts of the same type.
NB: You are allowed to be a co-author in another presentation other than yours provided that it will be presented by some one else (Main author).

Abstract Submission Deadline:
26th of January 2011 for active participants.
Passive participants: limited places.
